At first go, you will not find much difference between Oppo F5 and Oppo F5 Youth when it comes to design similarities. But, Unlike Oppo F5, Oppo F5 Youth does not have the silver coated lines on the top edge of the phone. The back pane of the phone has matte-finish so good that you may mistake it with metal body phone. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back side of the phone. On the right side of the phone, you will find 2 dedicated sim card slots and a dedicated MicroSD cards slot. The phone has a single speaker, which is located at the bottom of the phone along with 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone has MicroUSB port for the charging and connectivity purpose.
Oppo F5 Youth has 6-Inch FHD+ 18:9 full view display. Though the display size is big you will not find it big or face any difficulty to operate the phone as it has generous 84.75% screen-to-body ratio. The display has 401.98 PPI ratio and has the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Though the default display is 18:9 but you can change it to 16:9 if you want. Viewing angles are wide enough and the display has eye-protection mode as well.
